Health & Safety Practices

Our program follows established procedures for:

Daily attendance and supervision

Staff are trained to respond promptly and appropriately to children's health and safety needs while maintaining a caring and supportive environment.

Child Supervision

Children are supervised at all times while participating in Kid Adventures.

To ensure a safe environment, we:

Maintain staff-to-child ratios in accordance with New Hampshire licensing requirements.
Conduct attendance checks throughout the program day.
Follow established arrival and dismissal procedures.
Release children only to authorized individuals approved by parents or guardians.
Maintain supervision during all indoor activities, outdoor play, and field trips.

Our goal is to provide families with peace of mind knowing their children are safe throughout the program.

Emergency Preparedness

Kid Adventures is committed to being prepared for emergencies while helping children feel safe and supported.

Our program conducts and practices:

Regular fire drills
Emergency evacuation procedures
Shelter-in-place procedures
Emergency communication procedures
Staff emergency response training

When emergencies or unexpected events occur, families are notified as quickly as possible through Brightwheel and other available communication methods. This reflects the emergency procedures and communication practices described in your handbook.

Child Protection

The safety and protection of children is our highest responsibility.

Kid Adventures staff are mandated reporters under New Hampshire law and are trained to recognize and report suspected child abuse or neglect in accordance with state law and licensing requirements.

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment where every child is treated with dignity, compassion, and care. Your handbook outlines these responsibilities and your commitment to child safety.

Keeping emergency contacts up to date
